Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: His shield can render him nearly impervious to non-penetrative attacks.Light Is Good: Associated with the element of Light and is firmly on the side of the Heroes of Light - and unlike the High Priestess and Vega Brothers who correspond to Light in tandem, he's far from reprehensible.He starts with the Helios Communicator and Light tome, allowing him to blast his enemies with lasers or snakes summoned from sticks. Jack of All Stats: Starts with identical amounts of Strength, Intelligence, Agility and Defense.Item Amplifier: His Holy Cross can be used to bless food and recover burned food, drastically increasing the amount of health it heals alongside as counting as a separate "stack" of items. Humans Are Good: He's sole human of the bunch and the most moral and kindhearted out of all of them alongside Prince Baradus.Humans Are Average: He's the Token Human of the group, being a jack of all stats and carrying a kit that gives him generally average abilities that make him applicable to almost any situation.Combat Medic: He's capable of reviving fallen party members with his Holy Cross.Carry a Big Stick: Wields a mace as his primary weapon, which can deal serious damage when it's leveled up.Badass Adorable: He's an extremely kind-hearted young man who shows indiscriminate compassion towards all, even those of demonic nature with questionable morals and reasons, as shown with his lines when you interact with him as Gremile or Zandro.All-Loving Hero: He hesitates in praying for Gremile and Zandro, who are both demonic and dark in nature, as well as two of the more anti-heroic members of the Heroes of Light, because he believes that his prayers will hurt them due to their nature in spite of wanting to support the two.Attack Reflector: The final upgrade to his mace and shield gives his shield this capability. Later in the quest, he'll gain a shield that can be used to block attacks - and even reflect them once he receives a certain blessing. He can use his Holy Cross to revive fallen party members and interact with certain objects. The Human ClericLucien is a young, inexperienced cleric equipped with a mace. Stats Dissonance: Due to how the stats system works and how you can buy as many stat upgrades as your wallet can bear, your character's starting stats and implied playstyle based on their appearance and kit will often mean nothing later on once everyone has similar equipment.Sociopathic Hero: Can be induced through Video Game Cruelty Potential no matter who you play as nothing's stopping you from riddling innocent civilians or kind rulers with bullets or bludgeoning them to death, but you might not want to stick around for the consequences.Rule of Seven: There are exactly seven Heroes of Light.
