It's a good tasting coffee, but with some enhancement. Overall, I like the concept of Noocaf and their attempt at giving coffee fans a little something more than regular coffee has to offer. And, some of the effects are cumulative, meaning you have to consume the ingredients for a week before you would experience the benefit. Caffeine kicks in rather quickly, but other ingredients may take a bit longer to induce an effect. What's difficult to assess with nootropics is their long-term effect. I'm not sure that I was less distracted than I typically am during my work. I definitely felt more alert after drinking a cup of Noocaf and it wasn't jittery alertness like sometimes coffee can induce and I did feel fairly calm. The aim of this product is to produce increased productivity, enhanced concentration, but with a feeling of focused calm. Noocaf's Focus blend contains coffee beans sourced from South America along with six nootropic ingredients listed as follows: I always drink my coffee with a little milk and Noocaf was easy to drink and enjoyable. I couldn't detect any of the nootropic ingredients even as an aftertaste. I brewed Noocaf using the plunger method and to my surprise, it tasted like typical dark roasted coffee. I was interested to try this product because while I've reviewed a lot of coffee and a lot of nootropics, I hadn't yet reviewed a product that was a combination of the two. I received a 12 oz bag of Noocaf's Focus blend coffee to sample for this review. The company sent us a free sample of Noocaf for review. This amount can vary depending on the brewing method, brew time, and growing conditions. The caffeine in Noocaf is at the level typically found in Arabica coffee which averages to be about 160 mg per 8 fl oz cup when 2 tablespoons of ground coffee are used. A 8 fl oz cup has a total of 160 mg of caffeine. Noocaf Smart Coffee is Arabica ground coffee beans along with added nootropic ingredients designed to enhance focus, concentration, relaxation, and memory. Noocaf Smart Coffee contains 20.00 mg of caffeine per fl oz (67.63 mg per 100 ml).
